Quality
- It is our intention to be ISO9002 certified. To this end we have commenced with this task by drawing up a quality manual and will begin the certification audit in the near future.
- Statistical process control is practiced in our company on quantities over 10 000 springs.
Equipment
- Compression load testing - Light springs up to 5 000 N / Heavy springs
up to 300 000 N
- Tensile load testing - Testing of incoming wire specification tensile conformity, up to 14mm diameter wire or 200 000 Newtons
- Measuring instruments - Micrometers, digital and dial verniers. Accuracy checked on tool room quality slip gauges
- Equipment calibration - carried out on a 6 monthly basis.
Raw Materials
All of our spring steel wire complies to internationally recognised
standards (ie: DIN, JIS, SAE, ASTM, B.S.). All materials received are
supplied with test certificates showing chemical analysis, tensile strength
etc. and copies are issued upon request with each order.
